Fever River Outfitters Adventure Tour Company in Galena Illinois
to offer yoga adventures on the Mississippi River, up Chestnut
Mountain and around hilly, historic Jo Daviess County! Fever
River Outfitters offers specialized tours and convenient rentals
of scooters, kayaks, canoes, wet suits, bicycles and snow shoes.
They also offer great gear and other unique merchandise.
Yak
& Yoga: Calm
your mind and strengthen your body with a combination of yoga and kayaking.
Warm up with yoga on the banks of the Fevre River, followed by leisurely kayaking
in single or tandem kayaks on tranquil waters and a full yoga stretching
class afterwards. Suitable for beginners to advanced, we'll
help you create your own special yoga sport experience, whether it be indoors
or out. Based on availability, reservations are required.
Mississippi Adventure Day: Warm up with Hatha Yoga stretches followed
by a guided 7 mile kayak ride down the Mississippi River to Chestnut Mountain.
Then hike 3 miles to the mountaintop (or enjoy a scenic chairlift ride to the
top!) to participate in Power Yoga at the Peak, followed by lunch. Finish
up with a 9 mile bike ride through breathtaking country scenery, finishing
on Main St. Galena Illinois. Includes rental gear and catered sack lunch. Limited
